The Poet Laureate & a Pod of Poets
Karin Spitfire, with guests Elizabeth Garber, Gary Lawless, Chuck Smith and
a few "surprise" poets will kick off the new year with a lively
Round Robin reading... we choose a "topic" then the poets respond,
creating a feast of meaning for the audience.

Canon - Mime & Music
A wonderful, energetic mix of mime, music, storytelling, songs and audience
participation. Scot performs part of the show in white face. Family fun for
all ages. The program ends with a mime lesson.

The
Hep Cats
The Hep-Cats are a hot new trio bringing the rockin'sounds of the Atomic
Age to audiences far and wide. Founder Paddy "Daddy-O" Rowling
is familiar to audiences throughout New England, both as a lead vocalist and
on the Fender Bass with wildly popular jump/swing outfit "Three Button
Deluxe." Texas guitarslinger Sean Mencher is
an internationally recognized picker who has shared the stage with many rockabilly
greats, as well as co-founding "High Noon" and fronting "The Sean Mencher Combo." Rounding out
the group is mid-coast Maine's drummer extraordinaire Wm. "Billy
Rhythm" Batty, Jr., best known as timekeeper for blues-rockers "Blind
Albert." The Hep-Cats are sure to fill the dance floor, so get out there
early and avoid the rush!

David Dodson, a well-known songwriter, singer, plays acoustic guitar and is
known for his unusual original songs that are funny and profound, often at
the same time, covering diverse topics like old friends, gasoline, time, money,
love and doughnuts.

Abba Rabbi, Shabba
The name, Abba Rabbi Shabba, channeled to a band member, is Tibetan for garbage
worms, a great moniker for this crew which composts old discarded material
yielding a rich earthy musical gumbo.
